A pre-professional school adjacent to the Stratford Train Station, Turning–Pointe Dance Academy welcomes eager and energetic dancers into its walls.
Performances year round.
From our regularly performing Competition Team, to our holiday-themed revue of The Nutcracker, and our annual spring recital, TPDA is always engaging dancers in live performance as opposed to only personal study.
A welcoming environment.
TPDA teachers are compassionate and kind. We recognize that a strong and warm community encourages students to try their hardest, to be bold in their studies, and to connect with the other students in the dance studio. That’s why we champion ourselves as one of the friendliest studios in Connecticut.
Attention to detail.
The entirety of our curriculum is based around the art of ballet. The technically rigorous dance form is the best possible way for dancers to build an excellent dance foundation that improves technique, guards against injury, and accentuates their talent as dancers.
